About Josh E. Schaub
Josh is an attorney practicing law in Minneapolis, MN. He is admitted to both Minnesota and Wisconsin State District courts.
Experience
Prior to joining Weber Law Group P.A., Josh founded Schaub Law, PLLC and was its managing partner for 1.5 years. Josh focused his practice on business, real estate, and sports law. Josh has also served as Corporate Counsel to two Twin Cities companies, and he clerked at Clark C. Griffith P.A. and Hogan & Melms P.L.L.C. for two years. He is a Minnesota qualified neutral in Alternative Dispute Resolution.
Josh’s real world experience does not end in the world of law; he also has a vast experience in the professional sports world. Since 2004 Josh has served as an Associate Scout for the Milwaukee Brewers, covering the areas of Minnesota and Wisconsin. Prior to that position, Josh was the Director of Player/Personnel and Procurement for the Edmonton Cracker Cats (Now the Edmonton Capitals) minor league baseball franchise.
Josh's broad experience provides a wealth of knowledge which he applies to his practice of law and throughout his life.
Education
Josh earned his juris doctor from William Mitchell College of Law and his Bachelor's of Science from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. In college Josh majored in Exercise and Sports Science, with an emphasis in Sport Management and a concentration in Coaching Competitive Athletics. Josh also studied Pre-Law and minored in Political Science. Josh was chosen as the commencement speaker for his college
Community Involvment
Josh believes that service to one’s community is everyone's duty. His own community involvement includes mentoring students at St. Thomas Law School and William Mitchell College of Law. Josh also guest lectures at William Mitchell College of Law and Hamline law schools.
In the past, Josh has coached high school baseball, provided free baseball clinics in his hometown of Minocqua, WI, and been involved in Rec Sports, the Eagle Round Table, the Student Advisory Committee, UW-L Water Ski Team, and numerous other volunteer activities.
Hobbies
Josh's hobbies include reading, bowling, playing softball, snowmobiling, ice fishing, water skiing, and watching sports.
